ALABAMA
Alabama is not entirely what you might expect. Her citizenry retains a rural and
distinctly southern character and embraces some of the classic traits of the Deep
South, including a love of country music, stock-car racing and history. The state's
past is on display in everything from Native American burial mounds to antebellum
mansions, as well as museums and monuments that commemorate the struggles of the
civil-rights movement. However, Alabama is also the home of the NASA Space Center, a
fun and informative way to spend the day with your family, learning about the US Space
Program. The renowned Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, a string of courses spanning the
state, has made Alabama a must-play destination for golfers who love challenging holes
and beautiful scenery.

| Imagine your vacation in Alaska for one moment. You'll delight when you spot a grizzly bear with
a cub or two in tow. You'll be awestruck when the silence of a misty fjord is shattered by a pod
of giant humpback whales, breaching high into the air and then crashing back into the sea. While
your floatplane flies over crystal glaciers, toward the midnight sun, remember: This is Alaska.
This is real. This is the adventure of a lifetime. |

| There's no place on earth quite like the Grand Canyon State. It's not just the landscapes, which
include tall mountain ranges, swift rivers, grasslands, sand dunes and cactus forests. It's not
just our storied past, which reaches back thousands of years. It's not just our people, a vibrant
blend of cultures and traditions. It's all these things and the way they come together that make a
visit to Arizona a truly unforgettable experience. |

ARKANSAS
A vacation in Arkansas has as much to do with rejuvenation as relaxation. The waters of
Eureka Springs and Hot Springs have long been known for their healthful qualities, and
the state offers additional ways to make visitors feel better: fishing on a scenic lake,
walking a wooded trail or contemplating the beauty of a mountain road. All of our research
indicates that having fun can be good for you. Arkansas is also restorative in the sense that
it tries to preserve a lot of its past. Visit historic forts and vintage buildings and listen
to presentations of traditional music and crafts, all through the general sense that life
moves at a relaxed pace reminiscent of previous decades. If you want to take it easy and enjoy
beautiful, rural scenery, Arkansas is the place to do just that.
