The following terms relate to
payments, charges and cancellations. Please read this
information carefully.
RESERVATIONS:
Booking must begin at least 45 days (we suggest 60 to 90
days) in advance of your intended departure. You may want
to book even earlier if you intend to travel during school
vacations or other popular holiday periods.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT:
All reservations must be paid in full at time of booking.
Cancellation policies will be explained by your travel
consultant. Rates are not guaranteed until full payment is
made. All funds are quoted in and must be paid in U.S.
dollars. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance
(See paragraph 6 below). Please note that air departure
taxes are not included and must be paid at the time full
payment is due.
OTHER SERVICES: Your
travel agent can arrange for sight- seeing, car rentals or
transfers to and from your hotel or resort. The room
charge does not generally include transportation between
the destination airport and hotel or resort, service
charges that are based upon room occupancy and not paid in
advance through us, tips to local
representatives/sight-seeing guides/restaurant
employees/hotel employees/etc., meals, wines, liquors or
other items of personal nature. Your travel consultant
will inform you if meals, tips, taxes or airport transfers
are included in your room charge, which is usually the
custom at an "all-inclusive" resort. When the
resort assesses a service charge that is payable at the
time the room is paid for by us, the service charge will
be billed to you on your confirmation invoice. Other
resorts may require payment of these charges by you at the
time of your stay. Your travel consultant will inform you
of these details. Except at all-inclusive resorts, rates
do not include service charges, hotel taxes or transfers.
CHANGES & REVISIONS:
All changes in confirmed reservations are subject to
availability to us. In addition to any charges from the
hotel, resort or airlines necessitated by the change, a
$25 fee per person will be charged for changes made 45 or
more days prior to a confirmed departure date; there will
be a $35 fee per person for changes made less than 45 days
prior to departure.
CANCELLATIONS &
PENALTIES: In addition to any cancellation charges
from the hotel, resort or airlines, a penalty of $75 will
be charged for cancellation of confirmed reservations. No
refunds will be processed until all travel documents and
vouchers have been returned prepaid to us. NOTE:
many resort condominiums require full payment in advance
and will not provide any refund once payment is made.
Please see "Trip Cancellation Insurance" below.
This program is based on vacationers staying a specific
number of nights at their destination. There will be no
refunds made by us or by the hotel or resort condominium
for unused nights if the trip must be shortened. If you
have trip cancellation insurance, the insurance may
reimburse you for these unused nights, as well as, any
charges for any options that may be purchased in
conjunction with your vacation, which are not refundable.
TRIP CANCELLATION
INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that all travelers
purchase trip cancellation insurance. We offer a policy
that provides coverage for travel delays ($500), baggage
and travel documents loss ($500), baggage delay ($100),
medical assistance ($10,000), emergency assistance
($20,000), and accidental death and dismemberment
($25,000). Some states require that we offer this
insurance to all travelers. Trip cancellation insurance
will be offered to you for each of your vacations. You are
not required to accept this insurance and you may purchase
insurance from another source. A policy and details of our
available insurance coverage will accompany the
confirmation. You are urged to read it.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
Travel documents, including airplane tickets, room and
other service vouchers, will mail priority or certified
mail approximately three weeks prior to departure except
in the case of late bookings. Documents will not be issued
until full payment is received by us. You are responsible
for these valuable documents once you receive them. We
will replace a lost or stolen room voucher for a fee of
$50. Lost or stolen airplane tickets can be replaced for a
non-refundable charge of $75 per ticket plus our actual
cost of the replacement ticket(s). The replacement ticket
cost will be refunded if the original ticket is returned
or is not used.
SPECIAL TRAVEL
REQUIREMENTS: We should be informed of any special
travel requirements (handicapped access, special meal
requirements, etc.) at the time of booking.
OTHER DEPARTURE CITIES:
If flying from a Canadian departure city, an additional
charge or minimum night?s stay may be incurred or
required. Other U.S. cities than those shown in the
Pricing Guide may be available, but an additional charge
may also be incurred.

suppliers of services pursuant to or in connection with
the travel program, are acting only as a representative

Terms & Conditions
This program entitles you,
a family member or a friend to receive two round-trip
airline tickets to your vacation destination when you
obtain your accommodations for a stay at one of the
participating hotels, resorts or resort condominiums shown
in the directory. The airline tickets you will be issued
are:
For seating in the coach
section of the plane
Valid only when used in
conjunction with the accommodations supplied by the
program
The airplane tickets issued
by our program are special fare class tickets, which are
limited in number for each flight. You will receive
frequent flyer mileage for most flights provided by us if
you are enrolled in the appropriate airline program. Your
travel consultant can enroll you in a frequent flyer
program if you are not already a member.
All of the hotel and
condominium hotel rates quoted for your vacation are the
published regular rates applicable at the time of booking.
This program requires that you stay a minimum number of
nights depending on the hotel or resort condominium
selected, dates of your travel and the city from where you
depart. See the accompanying Pricing Guide for details. No
other discounts or promotions may be used in conjunction
with this program.
Your airline ticket voucher
is valid for one vacation, which must be booked within one
year and must be taken within 15 months. The Vacation
Request Form will become invalid if your credit card
company (or bank) does not honor the charge (or check)
used to pay for your deposit or final payment.
You may book more than one
room for this vacation and you are entitled to two
complimentary round-trip airline tickets for each
room/condominium booked (for which you are paying regular
adult rates). Each vacation (not each room) must include
at least one adult traveling with the party.
Your travel consultant will
inform you of the charges and conditions for others who
stay in your room, including your children, and can book
air reservations for additional people. Many resorts allow
children to share a room with parents at no extra charge
if they use existing bedding. Additional room charges, if
any, for children staying with you in your room will
depend on the specific hotel or resort chosen.
Overall, there are few
blackout dates. Many hotels and resorts are, however,
blacked out Christmas/New Year's and/or Presidents week
and some are blacked out other major holidays. See your
pricing Guide for blackout dates.
All airline tickets and
hotel or resort condominium reservations are based on
availability to us at the time of the request. To help you
get the dates and places you desire, we recommend that you
book your trip as far in advance as possible.
We pay the United States
government tax on the complimentary tickets. You are
responsible for:
all other taxes and fees, such
as airport departure and landing fee and taxes, customs
duties, taxes and fees levied by foreign government, etc.
surcharges, gratuities,
occupancy and sales taxes and other customary charges
which are based on room occupancy. In some cases, these
taxes and/or charges may have to be paid by you directly
to the resort upon checkout.
Complimentary tickets to
Hawaii are to Honolulu. If you go to another island, you
are responsible for the cost of the inter-island air.
CONDOMINIUM UNITS:
Arrival at condominium units is usually restricted to a
particular day of the week as designated by the particular
condo association, usually Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Stays of seven days or less must fall within that condo's
definition of a week that is, a five-day stay at a
Saturday to Saturday condo may run from Saturday to
Thursday or Monday to Saturday, etc. (Keep in mind that
Saturday night stays are required by some airlines.) Stays
of more than seven nights may include one or more nights
in each of the two defined weeks. We use a number of
condominium units in most destinations, therefore the
photo of the condo on the particular destination page in
this book may not be the condo you will be staying at and
your condo may look very different. A given destination
may offer high-rise, low-rise, townhouse, etc., types of
condos. Your travel consultant will be able to give you
more details about the location's you select.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
Passport, voter registration card, birth certificate with
raised seal, or certificate of naturalization are the
acceptable documents for U.S. citizens when presented with
a photo ID on most Caribbean Islands and in Mexico.
Children traveling with a single parent to and from Mexico
require a notarized letter of permission from the other
parent. When such letter is not obtained, notarized letter
stating why it is not obtained is required. Other foreign
destinations, including all Europe, require passports and
some required visas. Your travel consultant will provide
these details when you plan your vacation, however, you
are also advised to contact the consulate of any country
to which you will be traveling for specific details or
changes in requirements.
